How Do All-On-4 Implants Work?

After dental implants have integrated with your existing bone, they typically are restored with an implant-retained crown, bridge or denture.  However, dental implants require a long healing period before they can be restored as they are not properly integrated with your jawbone the moment they are placed.  That means you could have to go without teeth for an extended period of time as they heal.

With All-on-4 treatment, you don’t have to wait.  By placing just four to six dental implants strategically throughout the mouth, we can maximize the amount of bone tissue that integrates with your implants.  Afterwards, we can place a temporary prosthesis so you don’t have to go without your smile as the implants heal.
