As parents of a son born with severe disabilities, we feel extremely fortunate and blessed that we were able to find and connect with Dr. Dean. Traditional dental procedures may seem routine to most of us, but to individuals like our son, who doesn’t understand what is happening to him while people are attempting to restrain him and put foreign objects in his mouth that make noise and cause him pain, can be traumatic. We are so thankful that Dr. Dean is willing to accept patients like our son, since he is one of a handful of dentists in the country that have the training and qualifications to go into a hospital setting, and under general anesthesia, provide all facets of dental care that our son requires. He is skilled and compassionate professional, an excellent communicator, and a genuine great guy. I would highly recommend him.

I was anxious about having all 4 wisdom teeth removed, they answered all my questions/concerns, made me feel comfortable and practically made me feel like I was apart of the family environment they created, and it was only my 1st visit. The procedure was a breeze, and everything healed so quickly. They even did follow-up calls including one from Dr. Dean himself. Dr. Dean and his staff are top notch. I was 30 minutes late due to work. The staff was accommodating and never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Dr. Dean also performed an emergency extraction on my handicapped mother in her wheelchair after hours. This is a family practice that makes you feel like family.

It has been my honor and privilege to have worked closed with Dr. Dean teaching our peers how to integrate Sleep Medicine into their dental practice. His in depth knowledge of Sleep Medicine is only surpassed by his superb ability to share it with others. It is rare to find someone who can share both their didactic knowledge as well as their clinical experience.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dean during the AEEDC meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where we were both part of a selected group of invited speakers from around the world. In addition to his clinical practice, I admire his knowledge of dental sleep medicine and his passion to educating his peers around the globe.

I had the pleasure of lecturing with Dr. Dean at an Advanced Sleep Summit in Las Vegas, October 2012. He demonstrated that he had excellent knowledge of the importance of treating children's airway obstruction early in order to avoid more serious problems in the future.

Dr. Dean is one of only a small number of clinicians who are knowledgeable in the treatment of the TMJ as well as airway obstructions that result in snoring and sleep apnea.
